MIRA Technology Park (MTP) is Europe’s leading mobility R&D location for developing the latest automotive technology. It is a national centre of excellence and located in the middle of the UK automotive sector, providing access to over 40 major test facilities and the UK’s most comprehensive proving ground. MTP is home to over 35 global OEMs, Tier 1 and specialist automotive technology companies. The purpose-designed campus creates a unique collaborative ecosystem, bringing together world-class facilities and skilled engineers, to provide a location for innovation and technological development.
The role will support the Head of Commercial in delivering and evolving MTP as a world-leading automotive innovation cluster and technology campus. The main purpose of the job is to drive business development, generate leads, support the development of the campus and community.
This will also include engaging with internal and external stakeholders to create and execute new initiatives, both commercially and strategically.
The successful candidate will form a key part of the MTP team supporting in the growth and evolution of the Tech Park, working closely with the Estates, development, marketing and technical teams
- Experience
Essential Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in a technology-related industry.
- Proven track record in supporting successful business strategies, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the technology industry, including trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape, as well as experience in identifying potential partners and clients in this space.
- Must have clean, valid driver’s license.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience of working in a Technology or Science Park environment.
- Working with government stakeholder and entities

- Qualifications
Applicants should posses a Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree may be preferred, but not always required.
