Description

Do you have a flare for developing solutions and a passion for technology? Here at HORIBA MIRA we are recruiting a Corporate Software Developer that will define and refine specifications in a diverse technical business.  The role will also involve developing new features and enhancements, as well as resolve issues. 

Experience

Essential Experience

Demonstrable knowledge and experience of coding in Progress OpenEdge using:

  • AppBuilder and Architect,
  • Versions 10.x or 11.x,
  • Complex user-interfaces with multi-database updates
  • PASOE AppServer
  • Useable knowledge of.NET and Infragistics controls
  • Hands-on experience in designing interactive applications
  • Knowledge of Relational Database Administration
  • Experience in developing webspeed applications
  • Experience with test-driven development
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications
  • Able to communicate with non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem Solving

Preferred Experience

Demonstrable knowledge of:

  • OERA
  • Experience of Microsoft O365
  • Experience integrating with 3rd party applications
  • Demonstrable knowledge of source code control (GIT is preferred)
  • Understanding of fault reporting / issue tracking systems would be beneficial
  • ADM(1)
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Management
  • Familiarity with DevOps
  • Familiarity with GIT
  • Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes

Qualifications

Degree in IT, Maths, Engineering, Science, or Finance.
